The well known American writer Mr. Louis Fischer came to India in May 1942. He was in India for a long time. The universal conflict was going full speed ahead. In the singing hotness of June he enjoyed multi week with Gandhiji in this Ashram. Gandhiji allowed him one hour every day. He could likewise chat with Gandhiji during different exercises like eating, strolling, and so on Fisher composed a book "seven days with the Mahatma". In this renowned book he has portrayed the Ashram life and Gandhiji's preferences in an exceptionally contacting way. He composed that he never felt apprehensive in Gandhiji's presence. His relationship with Gandhiji was warm, sound, exuberant and cheerful. He tracked down Gandhiji a refined, capable and continuously invigorating and sweet individual. Louis Fisher has depicted the miracles of Gandhiji's character in the book.
